The assignments will enhance students knowledge to analyze the formal principles of drawing and explore how they relate to illustration. The students will construct conceptual solutions for various applications, sizes, and formats create conceptual solutions in a variety of the following media, including but not limited to: pencil, ink, water media, acrylics, oils, markers, pastels, charcoal, paper or collage. The assignments will help students demonstrate their ability to form and defend value judgments about graphic design and to communicate art ideas, concepts and requirements to professionals and laypersons related to the practice.
The assignments are Character development, Magazine Editorial Illustration, Book Illustration, Newspaper lnfographic Timeline and hands-on with a basic application on the computer.
